Sustainable HOME Design with your Heart & Health in Mind!

WHAT IS

SUSTAINABLE DESIGN?

Sustainable Design is the creation of energy-efficient infrastructure that is flexible and designed for long life. The primary objective is to have a minimal effect on the environment and ecosystem, it requires great consideration in terms of material selection and functionality without depleting natural resources.

Sustainable Design is also focused on minimizing the adverse impacts on the environment and improving the overall performance of buildings. The primary goal here is to consume a minimal amount of non-renewable resources, cut down waste, and develop a functional and productive environment.

As an eco-conscious person with a focus on sustainability, the new mantra will be to find alternative use of materials, objects, and spaces.

Handmade in the USA.
NATURAL ORGANIC MATERIALS.

David Wiseman (b. 1981) is one of the leading American designers of his generation. His work draws inspiration from his fascination with the natural world, global decorative arts traditions, and a reverence for honoring timeless craft techniques. Far from reproducing historic design, however, he breathes new life into interiors and environments. Porcelain cherry blossom ceilings, bronze patterned filigree folding screens, and polished marble and terrazzo inlay furniture affirm and perpetuate the relevance ornament and beauty can play in contemporary architecture and life.

HANDMADE WALLPAPER MADE FROM RECYCLED NEWSPAPERS AND MAGAZINES.

Lori Weitzner has been internationally known for her contributions to the world of textiles and wallcoverings for more than thirty years. As VP and Design Director of Weitzner Limited, Lori brings her signature aesthetic and sophisticated color sense to all of the brand’s textiles and wallcoverings. At her Manhattan studio, which Lori dubs her White Box Sanctuary, she and her team explore inspiration in material form. This could mean spending a day drawing, painting, making stencils, or collaging torn paper—all of which can become the jumping-off point for a fabric weave or wallcovering pattern.
